Electrics
All garden rooms and electrics are installed to Part P regulations and provided with an electrical safety test certificate upon completion. The specification for our range consists of four double sockets, two gang light switches, 4 spotlights, 2 outside spot lights or up/down lights depending on the style, 2kw electric wall panel heater and fuse box. A choice of other electrical options are available upon request.
Please Note: We do not connect the mains power supply to our Garden Rooms, this can be done by your local electrician which you will need to arrange, or we can use our in house electrician for you at an extra cost. (connections will need to signed of by supplied electricians)
SiPs Panels
What is a SIPs Panel? A structural insulated panel, or structural insulating panel, is a form of sandwich panel used in the construction industry. SIP is a sandwich structured composite, consisting of an insulating layer of rigid core sandwiched between two layers of structural board, used as a building material.
The environmental performance of SIPs is very good due to their exceptional thermal insulation. They also offer a resistance to damp and cold problems like compression shrinkage and cold bridging that cannot be matched by timber and more traditional building materials. All of this means that you will save money on heating as the high insulating properties provide incredibly low U values. Door And Windows
Our range of energy-efficient, attractive, secure PVC-U casement windows, are the most energy-efficient PVC-U double-glazed windows for our rooms. They come in a standard Anthracite grey outside and white inside. Again, there are upgrades available to tailor to your needs.
Site Survey and Ground Preparation
We offer a free* site survey to asses the area you would like to site your Garden Room to make sure its suitable for the type of Garden Room you have chosen. If the ground needs to be leveled off or dug out in readiness, we can arrange for our sister company, Glynderi Builders, to do this for you at an additional cost (arranged with Glynderi Builders separately).
Alternatively, if you would prefer to get someone else in to do the ground preparation, we can liaise with them to advise them on what needs to be done and you can arrange that all directly with your chosen contractor.
*While the site survey itself is free of charge, mileage will be charged at £0.40 pence per mile for any distance traveled further than a 50 mile radius of our base. This fee will be refunded when a completed purchase is made and product installed.
